Re: Chris Wilson? Potential Starter?
oh man...I remember back when we signed him from the BC Lions...just about everybody on the board piled on the FO like they had just pulled the AA and Brandon Lloyd deal combined all over again...now here comes a thread discussing the possiblity of him being an every-down starter...my how times have changed...lol

I was thinking the same thing yesterday as Wilson racked up 2 sacks. I remember that thread well. One of the more ridiculous ones in recent memory. |

Re: Chris Wilson? Potential Starter?
Given Wilson's size, he would be an ideal weakside LB. It would be a tough transition for him to learn to read plays & drop back in coverage, but I could see him making the transition next year as a backup LB while still getting the same # of plays as a pass rusher. The guy has the athletic ability, it might just be a question of whether the coaches feel it's worth taking the chance to develop him vs. drafting a LB high or acquiring Briggs.
