Re: No Fight in the Irish
Funny how they dumped Ty Willingham for Weis....not looking so good now, is it?

This whole argument is only brought up because Willingham is black, and frankly I am tired of people making assumptions and conclusions because of race. It's sickening.

Secondly, Weis’ success has come with players that Willingham recruited. Darius Walker, Brady Quinn, Jeff Samardzjia, and Tom Zbikowski, the four biggest stars that played under Weis were signed by Willingham. As far as who had the toughest schedule in their first year, I challenge you to look that up. Ty had a monster schedule in his first and second season. Look it up. Bottom line, the Irish dumped Willingham for Weis and they're not better off. That much I'm sure you would agree on, right? |

Notre Dame has no talent right now. Is that Weis' fault? Probably not. More likely Willingham's. Anyway, unlike Willingham, Weis put toghether two straight BCS season's and has earned a one year pass is my book. If next year isn't significantly better, I would start wondering about his recruiting practices. |
