Re: Update: Drew Carey to Replace Bob Barker on Price is Right

I mean, there really is no way to replace Barker.

I'm not sure how I feel about Carey fitting in yet, I've got to see how he does first. It's not like Bob did much in the terms of personality, so I'm not sure adding some will help the show.

I just hope when I get my wisdom teeth removed soon, I'll be able to watch the price is right and judge joe brown in a doped up bliss. God bless pain killers.

I hear ya man...just an FYI...don't eat anything that requires suction. IE: drinking out of a straw etc. I didn't do that, but I still got dry socket, the pain killers didn't help at all. I don't know why they won't work on dry socket, but they don't.

HAPPY DAY!!!! I think Carey will do fine, although as mentioned above, no one can replace Bob. That being said, I hope he keeps the creepy long skinny microphone, its a staple of the show.

I like the Drew Carey idea, would have preferred Wayne Brady, but Drew is fine. I just could not have stomached Rosie ruining a great show. Bob Barker is quite possibly the greatest game show host of all time.

3 Cheers for Bob!

I think Drew Carey will do fine. It'll just be difficult to watch the show without Bob...

This is sort of off-topic, but I remember when I had my wisdom teeth removed. I went out the night before and rented like 8 movies because I figured I'd be in bed for a day or two (I'd only had surgery once before I did not react well to the anesthesia) but it turned out that I was totally fine within about an hour or two of getting home. I got bored with laying around all day really quick and I even went back to work early.
I didn't think the pain was too bad even though all four of my teeth were impacted but jsarno is right, don't drink from a straw. That will hurt and whatever you're drinking will taste like blood.
