Well, Stewart's comments were wrong. I agree with that. Stewart gets emotional and doesn't filter his words when the camera rolls. Unlike other drivers, who will say the kind of things Stewart off-camera.
Looked like Stewart was trying to get close for a possible bump draft on the straightaway, which would have helped both him and Hamlin. Stewart, has been extremely vocal about the dangers of bumping on the corners so I'd be surprised if the was trying to do bump then. Now, it appeared that Hamlin slowed down just a bit and Stewart had gotten too close too soon to get around him.
