MB is a good guy and i wish he was 10 years younger. However, no disrespect, but signing MB to the contract we did was a massive, huge mistake. He had lost his starting job for someone else. Had we signed him to a fair deal and not "annointed" him our starter i might be able to understand the signing. Bad move that i didn't understand at the time and still don't.

The compensation and value of the contract was too high. But we've made this same mistake many times since. The difference is that we got a good deal of return on Brunell whereas Carter and Archuleta and Patten and espicially Lloyd have given us nothing.
