I really wouldn't be surprised if we don't get either. I think Gibbs wants to assert more authority on personel w/regards to $ & cap space. I think he wants to keep his vets & doesn't want to have to cut some guys this year or next due to more big signings.
I see us picking up a cheaper vet or 2 later in free agency. Somebody mentioned Smoot. While he might not be available, someone of his caliber might be for a signing bonus of 4 mil or less if we wait for them to be cut.
