Err, Payne is signed through to 2027, and while we have an out in 2026, that would make no sense ($11.2M dead cap).

Why the urge to sell core players that are still contributing? With the non-returners we'll have leaving end of this year (inc. Lattimore?) you'll have a gutted roster. We need to build now while JD5 is on his rookie contract, and while we have got too many OOTH players on the roster, we have some promising young ones. Yes we need to move to a younger roster, but selling good players is stupid.
