Commanders @ Packers Game Week/Thread

This is going to be a tough game on a short week. I like our chances to compete and beat any team though anywhere especially after the upgrades and development I saw yesterday. If Love doesn't absolutely ball out, we can win this game. Need to protect the ball and stay with the run.

JD5 and this offense on a spotlight night will raise their level of play to match. It's going to be a good test for the rest of the season.

To short of a week for us to fix everything we didn’t do right in game one; so I expect a close Packers win.

Packers 24
Commanders 20

The Raiders in week 3; should feel our wrath.

Re: Commanders @ Packers Game Week/Thread

You know, the Packers offense wasn't particularly prolific against the Lions, just efficient. Love had 188 yard through the air, and they had 78 yards rushing. We had 432 yards of offense (nearly even rushing and passing), and the D line for the Giants is better than the Lions D line.

If we can avoid turnovers and dumb penalties, we should be in this game and have a good chance to win. This is the kind of game that might be a bit of a litmus test for the season. Taking out the Packers at home on a short week would be an achievement, for sure.

Russ cooks just enough.
You need a more positive outlook on our team. This isn't Dan Snyder's football team anymore!

Defense is gonna have to step up, offense keep its composure... ball security and eating up clock on the road will be key im sure. They've definitely got some weapons, fast ones too. Will be a good test for the D.

We have a shot, just like they do.

We were better than them last year, and we are better than them this year. JD gotta be a little more accurate and we have to clean up the clock management.

Us - 38
Them - 17

Snyder era PTSD is deeply affecting all of us. But no reason we can’t win this one.

Packers defense last week had 9 tackles for loss against a top offense in the Lions. Those guys were getting after it and obviously prepared, well coached. That stood out to me when going through the box score

Need to keep that defense off balance

If the defense looks anything like it did week 1 on Thursday night, my cuppeth will runneth over with kool-aid for the rest of the season.

The offense is going to score points, if that type defense is the new normal, we are going to be tough to beat. They bullied the shit out of the Giants up front. It was awesome.

I'm happy we get them early in the year and off a game playing a talented defensive line in the Giants. These may be the best 2 pass rushing teams in the NFC or at least both really good. Should be a fun game. Love can be tough to predict. When he's on though he's one of the best.

One thing the Packers defense didn’t face is a mobile quarterback, so that’s a big deal. Goff was a statue back there

Re: Commanders @ Packers Game Week/Thread

Let's not get carried away by a week 1 win against a pathetic Giants team.

Green Bay are on a different level.

We lose 17-24
