High school games wouldn't even have called those. 3rd was an obvious hold late in the game for a big NO gain that was missed. 4th it was opi on their last td that was missed. One of their receivers clearly blocked prior to the receiver catching the ball.

I'll take the victory. This is not a SB team, but they can still make the playoffs and the future looks bright. Lattimore was shutdown.
Don't forget the 2nd deep ball to Terry that he normally hauls in but just juggled it. Any team can get hot in the playoffs, not saying we will. All in all, this team likely wins 11 games. Pretty happy for a first year overhaul.

Re: A WIN IS A WIN POSTGAME THREAD

Felt like the first half we were rollin. Everything was good. Toward the end of the first half the offense started to falter, and just couldn't get back on track. I don't know the total sack count, but JD was sacked at least 7 times. NO had lots of pressure up front. Good gameplan once their defense started rolling. They pressured, and took away any semblance of a run game, making the O more 1 dimensional. To win as handily as we have gotten used to this year, Terry has to make those big play catches. But with our front being handled by their line, that was the game we were playing. If terry makes even 1 of those catches, everyone is singing praises of another big Washington W. But, he did not, so here we are talking like this.
Our OL is def priority next year, and 1 more weapon. I'd like to see them get Sinnot more involved, as I wont expect Ertz to be sticking around much longer. I'm of the ilk that I want to see players call it before they have scrambled eggs in their skull. He's been good for us this year, but it may be time to move on for him. Sinnot was a 2nd rounder, and will hopefully become a premier TE, but we have to start seeing what we have.
St. Juste was bad again. I hope there is improvement, and getting him to play his nat position when Lattimore came on was, hopefully, going to get him back to what we hoped his form would be...but he didn't do well yesterday.
Overall, like the title says, a w is a w.....but it didn't feel like a good w from the beginning of the 2nd half.
Hopefully they play up to the eagles. Hurtz can be rattled, but saquon is a real issue.

Totally agree with this. Pretty odd that JD and McClaurin didn't connect with at least 1 deep ball on all those. This combined with the bs penalties was our biggest issue on why this got close. JD had a few missed passed but overall was solid. His legs are a wonderful weapon to have with this offense.
