Again, Sam has played one full season and Daniels hasn't played a game. We will just have to see how it plays out. Remember the % of 1st round busts at QB is probably over 50%.

For him to be successful, we need a good running game and a better defense. I think we'll have both, resulting from major upgrades to the Coaching staff and better players.
Are there still holes? Sure, but I don't think we have gaping holes that will prevent the kid from developing at a normal, if not rapid, pace. As always, time will tell, but my $$ is on JD being much better than SH when it's all said and done. |

It's hard to factor that in to a single "this % of qbs made it to a second contract" number, but it's pretty important context. SH would have done much better being somewhere else last year (that was LESS dysfunctional than us, i.e. not carolina). |
