You gotta have a backup qb. Mac Jones is just as good as any rookie qb they'd use that 6th round pick on.

I'm not opposed to holding onto Howell for this reason. He already has starting experience and riding the bench for a couple seasons might do him some good. But if we can get a 3rd or 2nd for him take it and run.
