Nothing is a sure thing. Nothing. They could both be terrible HC’s. But I bet you Peters is not happy about both of them staying, and I am going to trust he knows whether they have what it takes or not. Nice to try and put a positive spin on things but not landing one of them stinks.
It isn’t the end of the world, but boxes were being checked off real nice …. New Owner with success with sports teams , new GM on everyones radar , new hot young OC for HC , and now I am afraid they are going to settle. Doesn’t mean you can’t take a run at the young guns again next year if things don’t work out with whoever we wind up with.
