Honestly, you could substitute "some things" with almost anything, as I was reading it my brain was inserting "lunch menu" and his statement makes perfect sense.

Spilled my coffee. This post sums up Ron's regime perfectly IMO. It's year 4 and it feels like he's about to talk to us about the military culture and how it takes time to change things etc...
Don't blame him though, he thought he was buying some time but in a way he set a deadline on himself, this is the time to deliver and he knows it, so he can't be talking about complete overhauls and shit. Lunch menu is about the level of things he can talk about fixing without losing face.
