It's clear Howell is lost sitting in the pocket waiting for plays to develop.

The game plan adjustment at halftime in Denver was perfect. Ran the ball down their throats.

My gripe is the soft run we do to the right behind Cosmi. Seems like a delay which only gives the defense time to react. I'd like to see more downhill runs.
Amen to this, hate that play.

Not as much as I hate going empty backfield when it's not an obvious passing down, again gives the defense the advantage.

Worst of all though was Logan Thomas running the sneak for a second time. He barely made it first time on about 5th effort and we run it again with predictable outcome.

He did it again!

First down run gains 6 yards, second and 4 he goes empty backfield and surprise surprise it's another sack.

Re: The EB Effect

Atrocious run blocking and play calling have been the main issue. Last year with a shitty line and BRob coming back from being shot ran the ball way better. This year BRob either gains one yard or no gain. If he gets 5 yards, next play it's a pass. Keep running the fucking ball and make manageable.

Time to shuffle players on the line. Replace Gates, Wylie and Jay Leno.

Yeah, they surely were thinking there was a trick play coming, surely noone would be stupid enough to go empty backfield in the circumstances. But they were wrong smdh.
