Re: MILE HIGH THRILLER POST GAME

Would anybody here right now take Russ Wilson over Sam Howell?

I thought Russ looked fairly poor. There is no way in hell I’d take Russ over Howell

Here’s a list of what the so called experts thought would be impact QB’s:

Justin Fields
Trey Lance
Kenny Pickett
Malik Willis
Matt Corral
Bryce Young
CJ Stroud
Anthony Richardson
Will Levis
Hendon Hooker

I would take Howell over any of these on the list and many starting pros. Howell will prove he was a great impactful pick

I mean 5 of those guys are rookies and Corrall hasn't played a down, not really fair to put them in there, but who said Corrall would even be an impact QB

All the so called NFL experts that wanted Washington to draft Corral or Willis (who is currently on NE non football injury. My point you have lots of 1st round high picks. Howell will be better than all QB’s picked ahead of him as better than Howell.

Some of those guys are just getting started. They're rookies. Not really fair to judge them now. Fields, Lance, Willis and Corral. No way. Never got the hype on Willis. I was watching Fields on the QB school. His issues seem that he doesn't see the field very well. He needs the wr to be wide open in order to throw it. Zero anticipation. Tua on the other hand, at least in week one, was hands down the best QB. Constantly throwing guys open against the Chargers. Threw the ball well before guys came out of their breaks. Really high level QB play from Tua.

Sam is literally a rookie and has the traits, I gurantee you he’ll be the best from that list. Bryce young is great but will get hurt, others might be athletic, but can they play a full QB position?

I think that list there were plenty of experts also calling them a reach especially Fields, Lance, Pickett. I agree with you on taking Howell over all of them though. I like what the kid has shown. IMO we have to get running game going because I don't think him throwing 40 times a game is the recipe we want, but I really don't know shit.

Watch this highlights and tell me what you see. Poise,, decision making, confidence, toughness, accuracy, resilience and smarts.

Can’t teach that.

Confidence, above all else. He trusts he'll have the time, the open man, and the ability to get the ball there. It's that confidence that makes him hold onto the ball sometimes (not fear/confusion), and he needs his internal clock to override that. But thats coachable. I like what I've seen so far.

Stroud actually looks solid so far, BY has no help at all. Richardson is CAM 2.0

LANCE IS A BUST

Pickett Sucks

Fields is prob a bust too.

Howell was so worth that 5th RD Pick!!!

I’ve watched Stroud twice and he looks pretty damn good.
