V same for the rest.

Can’t trade 47. We need immediate impact on the oline or we might as we will draft a quarterback because Sam will get killed. You are already giving up on 2023. Lol. Totally agree with the needs/ wants at 97 and on. Best available oline te or lb. But im not stockpiling picks for next year and throwing in the towell. We can improve greatly with these picks and if you give Howell half a chance than 2023 isn’t a wash yet.

We got weapons galore, a new OC, and a very good defense. 2023 could be better than seasons usually are.

And it's your thinking (Which the vast majority of Skins fans and Skins management also have) that has been in place and executed the last 24 years. I want to build a contender and have espoused acquiring future top picks for years (decades now). Do you know which team adapted that plan? The Eagles.

Watch what the Eagles do tonight. I'd put money that they come out of tonight with future picks.

We have to put the all about now attitude in the past if we ever want to see another Lombardi.

I'm on punch's side in this debate, primarily because I'm 75 years old and if we do it your way I might never see another Lombardi because I'll no longer be on Earth to see it. Be reasonable; do it my way.

I have in the past been a strong supporter of this idea and still am in many ways, I fully expected the Eagles to trade down one of their first rounders to continue there successful run of taking high picks. But it is dependent on being able to find a willing partner which our FO never seems capable of. You have to be in the position the take a reduction in draft resources in the first year but the payoff in future years is potentially huge. This year they need to win and would benefit from using the 2nd rounder, so I don't think they will do it, but given that there is limited space on our roster right now it would pay dividends to shift some of our later picks into future years

Oh, I don't think they will do it either. They just don't think this way (beyond the current season). Maybe, hopefully, that will change with new ownership.

The Eagles were in the Superbowl last year they don’t even need the picks. They hit on a quarterback and have a great GM. There success has nothing to do with what happens tonight. We on the other hand are not remotely the Eagles. We have immediate needs.
