Will never happen. Almost a zero percent chance that will happen. He nor any of the other former retirees could make it on the Champions Tour. They'd get slaughtered.

Do you understand how good those guys are out on that tour?

The way you make it sound they must have the hand-eye coordination to nut in your lady's eye from 50 yards out.

I don't doubt you but the minute you say something is impossible the more I believe it's possible.

To give an example John Smoltz who is a +2 index, he actually qualified for a senior US Open a few years ago. That is a huge feat in itself. In the first round he shot 85 on a par 70. Had he played the entire 4 rounds ( he didn't make the cut) he could have possibly lost to the winner by 45 to 50 strokes over 4 days. The winner was -3.

Huge huge difference between being a scratch or better player to a tournament tour player.

I get what you're saying, it's highly improbable - but it's not impossible that a retired player in one sport could become a good player in another sport.

28-3 was impossible, until it happened. In 1999 did you believe there would ever be a day where a QB would make 10 Super Bowl appearances and win 7 of them? I ain't saying plenty of retired guys could make the tour - but longer odds have paid off.
