Ok fine, the words “we’re going to win this game” (a guarantee) very very rarely come out of a coaches mouth. That is the reason it is a big story. I don’t think it is such a big deal either for the record, but it is extremely unusual for a coach to say that. You could almost see the look on his face after he said it like whoops. I think he was sort of fumbling for words and it just came out. Ron is definitely using it to fire the boys up. Said it was a big mistake. Every player on the team is fully aware he said it and it is motivated even more now. Fuck McCarthy. He is a fuckin bumbling idiot. And a lousy HC. |
