Pretty much. That o line is so bad. How you spend a high pick on barkley and basically ignore the oline minus Thomas is insane. And Jones was a bad pick.

Lets not forget we have two starters on IR with season ending injuries .The O line wasn't great but serviceable till they went out .Jones is an NFL QB , ..no one is saying elite but he's fine.

He's not fine for the 6th overall pick. He's heading towards bust city.

He's not Haskins so bust city is a bit much.

He's not elite, and that decision (along with other big swings and misses in the draft) is going to cost DG his job.

He was also 9 picks higher than Haskins. And when you factor in that there are only a handful of positions that are usually in the top 15, that’s consequential. Also, we ended the Haskins experiment fairly quickly. Jones may suck for far longer. Or at least, I hope so.

LOL, he played well against Washington no wonder you all want him gone.

G-1, what is your definition of fine? A guy with a propensity for turnovers and zero ability to carry a team….ever? No way he is “fine” Especially as Matty pointed out where you drafted him. He is a solid backup quarterback. Nothing more. Nothing less. And cancer or not, plan to retire or not , Gettleman was getting axed after this year.

If I was Gettleman I would have been hinting at retiring two years ago too. Because he knew he was not getting the job done. He has been an absolute train wreck. You might be the only Giants fan I know who defends him or Jones. And I know a shit ton of Giants fans.

How you defend Jones is crazy. Yeah Haskins is worse. He got fuckin booted and you wont find a poster on this board who ever defended him. I dont know what u see in Jones. He is awful. Beating the WFT does not make him good. Not even close. That being said I hope he sticks around for a while.

The Turnover thing has been addresses .Look the Giants have way more problems then Jones.

Perhaps, but he is on the problem list somewhere. He's certainly not living up to his draft status. He was drafted to be a franchise QB, not a JAG.

Addressing does not equal fixing. He threw two pics two weeks ago? He has 7 int’s and 5 fumbles on the year. On pace for more than last year. I sometimes feel like you are talking about a different guy. Lol.

Heineke has 9 int’s but he is clutch. Jones is not. At all. Plus Heineke was not a top ten pick.

27th in RZ efficiency, 23rd in total points

Heinike has been good the past 2 games, I root for him but hes limited.

Clutch doesn’t really equal RZ efficiency. Certainly doesn’t equal total points. That is great not clutch. Clutch is we need a score to win the game. Heineke would be a guy I want on the field. Jones wouldn’t be. My point was they are both limited but Heineke got that mojo when you need it at least.

I wish we could hypnotize Heineke to always think there is a minute and a half left in the game and we are down 6.

First I never mention Heineke ,3of Jones INTs are on the receives not Jones ...yeah I know how it works but when it goes in and then out of their hands. Again I like the kid he takes his hits ,the Giant fans wanted someone more mobile then Eli but no one thought he would be their #1 rusher.

I know u didn’t mention TH but as a WFT fan I didn’t wanna come across like we had a future hall of famer at the position.

He is pretty mobile. Second leading rusher but its by default cus Barkley can’t stay healthy.
Listen man I hope for your sake he pans out, I also hope for your sake they get another quarterback this off-season though. Lol.
