2019 2R by Detroit .. got a 32.1 PFF grade. Honestly Ive never seen anything lower than mid 40s ... I know nothing about the guy.

They might be considering Shaka Toney at LB as well.

So, I think Toney will become a SAM LB for us and be used some as an EDGE in nickle to spell Young/Sweat.

He did work out at the Senior Bowl as an Off-the-Ball LB, so I see that what he plays if he hopes to make the 53 man roster.

If he indeed does slot in at SAM, this is a really solid 7th round pick! - Mark Tyler

JDR did say they were cross training him at LB and his build is prototypical LB, same size as Jamin. Plus Toney is said to be fast for his size

I’d also note, FWIW, that he’s #58 - the other D linemen are all in the 90s. All LBs in the 50s. Just sayin’.

They are only in year 2, still building, next year depending if they get their QB, is where the window opens and Win Now becomes a factor

It was 61.6 in 2019. Not that I consider pff grades the end all be all.
