Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
There is simply no way in hell I’m starting Cam over Mac Jones
Mac Jones has easily outplayed Cam in the preseason

I think so too. In fact, if Davis doesn't play up to "stud status" the hindsight cries for jumping up and grabbing Jones will be pretty high I think.

No opinions from anyone?
I think we should bring him in for vet min. He's got that Carolina connection with Ron.

We should bring Cam in and have an open competition with Fitzpatrick for the week 1 starting job. Competition breeds success.

Fitz and Heinicke will be fine. May not be Drew Brees/Aaron Rodgers, but they are both better than Cam at this point. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
Come on Mooby. Why? Cam is washed up. He was once a great QB but like al players, decline over time. He got beat out by a rookie with a body like a cookie. He will make a fine back up but his ego isn’t ready for that. Plus how many opportunities has Ron had to sign him now? 2-3? And he always passes. He said he’s good with what he’s got. Let. It. Go.

Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
We're talking about a former MVP here Irish. With 2 legs and 2 arms. I see no reason this couldn't work.

The reason it wont work is because he's past his prime and a PITA. He's just not worth the aggravation. |
