Agree with the point you made, Heinicke has shown he can run the offense and has a kick to him. I don't know how the season will play out, but it's not crazy to think he will get playing time throughout the season.

Edit: Especially with a 17 game season and Fitz being 38. Look how Drew Brees was protected with a relief qb. I could see that working with Fitz and Heinicke.

Roll eyes.. Lets give Fitz some real games with real game planning before we start calling for TH. And I love TH but it is just way too early. We gotta play some games bud...lol.

I didn’t say anything about Fitz not being the guy .. what I said is that I believe BOTH may see substantial playing time .. and I believe that could cause some of issues with other Defenses preparing for us … but like you said it is all nonsense…

I hope that is not the case. I don't remember ever seeing "QB by committee" being successful. The Saints were able to sprinkle in T Hill with D Brees, but that's not what we have here with Fitz and Heinicke.

Fitz will win the starting QB position outright, but I think the jury is still out with regard to who will be the backup. I wouldn't count out K Allen just yet.
