I'm disappointed nobody took the bait earlier but seriously this isn't a good debate. Smith has been as good, if not better, than anybody who has worked for the team in the last 30 years. He will be extended, and if he isn't my faith in Rivera will drastically plummet.

I think he'll stay on as GM.

Rivera can't do everything and Smith has proven he can handle the job. By working together Smith can focus on picking the players that mesh well with Rivera's culture and Rivera can focus on catching them.

Whether or not Ron agrees with that will determine Smith's fate.

My inclusion of Southpark was my attempt to say that tongue in cheek. I'll just remove the last part for the sanctity of the thread.

Here's to Chief staying in my top 5 (I know this is a significant honor to him lol) and to us keeping Kyle Smith, hopefully as the GM.
