On Our D-line ranked 3rd best in NFL by PFF. Not bad. On RB’s, There will be plenty of carries for everyone. RB’s take a beating. There is nothing wrong with sharing the load and keeping them fresh. The season is a marathon not a sprint. Plus Guice and Love have to prove they can hold up to the punishment. I hope they can, they are both talented. I like the way Gibbs used to handle his RB’s. He would pound the opposing defense with his work horse like Earnest Byner to soften up the opposing defense then bring in the speed back when the opposing defense was tired and ready break. Gibbs also had a designated goal line back Gerald Riggs. I could see Guice/AP sharing the work horse role and Love/Gibson bringing the speed. Plus you know there will be a diamond in the rough find at RB. |
