You've supported the Redskins, paid the Redskins for merch...but don't want to wear their name? Sounds like someone who would wear a Glock shirt to look cool but refuses to actually own a gun.

I used to passively support the name "redskins" touting the Wash Po survey.

Last couple years I have looked into the term "redskins" and have come to my own opinion that the term was originally used by NA as a pseudo umbrella for discussion with the early colonialists. But over time, the term evolved into a slur.

I think the logo, designed by Wetzel of the Blackfeet tribe, was done with respect. I view the name "redskins" as a slur when known racist George Marshall founded the team.

This is my own personal opinion and thoughts that I have come to after reading a lot from both sides. I personally am not going to tell another person what to do or think.
