I rarely encounter websites that could work around Brave settings.. Did you leave Brave Shield on all the times? It is what that prevents the ads and tracking.

Not sure of my Brave settings. I usually use Firefox, but if go to a link someone has posted and it won't let me in without turning off my ad blocker I will open Brave and copy and paste the link in the address bar and see if I can get in. That probably works 85% of the time, the other 15% it still tells me to turn off my ad blocker. Brave used to work 100% of the time. For the record I have Windows 7 Pro and I have never checked for Brave updates since I down loaded it and it could of been a year.
