Your #4 like is kind of a moot point with your #3 dislike of Guice getting hurt again.

#7, right path?, please explain. In 5 starts his best net passing yards in a game was 171. He is averaging 137 net passing yards a game. Look at his game to game stat lines, they pretty much look identical. If he is improving why isn't it resulting in more productivity? The team is more competitive due to the running game and defense, not Haskins.

About the running game, you're right but that was sort of an individual game take, and I do think the OL did a good job of opening lanes. Run blocking has been better the last couple of games.

About Haskins, he didn't have a good game, last week was better. But I do think stats don't tell the whole story. Looking at him, I think he's making some throws now that he didn't make the first 2 games (ie this 3rd down throw to Harmon in between zones).
With him I've gone from very concerned to he's a rookie with very few starting experience in college, let's see how he develops when the game slows down for him. And my biggest early concern being awful accuracy, I do think he's taking steps in the right direction on that matter.

Forgot to link this article about Haskins receiving the second highest PFF passer grade during the Panthers game. We can discuss the grading systems all we want. My point is stats don't tell the whole story, and he's not nearly as bad as he was 3 weeks ago.

Who graded his performance and what familiarity do they have with his reads and checks?

I have no idea, this is why I said we can discuss their grading system all we want. I don't know exactly how relevant it is, but I don't think it's completely irrelevant either. Just speaks to Haskins not being the complete hopeless bust we could have thought he was the first 2 games.

Cooley discussed their grading system on his pod today episode 94.

He complimented pff for all of the analytics and stats they measure, then said their grades are worthless.

He is a company man, ripping the grading system that was the only outlet who rated Haskins as remotely positive.

A few years ago, Trent received a negative grade from pff for the same game Cooley said coaches should show film of to demonstrate how to play tackle.

I don't have any faith in the reliability of their grading system but to each his own.

FYI, my neighbor James graded him out at a 68. He watches football all the time...

You now have more info for how I viewed his performance than you do from pff.

I'll listen to Cooley on that. I remember Cooley ripping PFF's grading system.

Just to be clear, I am 100% sure that Haskins was NOT the second best QB in the league when he was awarded this grade, not even close, not even top half of the league. I just thought, let's say their grading system is 80% worthless and 20% accurate, it'd still be an indication Haskins did things better, things they saw and based their inaccurate and flawed grade on.
