I feel like im beating a dead horse but you keep asking what i meAn. Lol. So here i go again. Each team gets the ball until one team scores more than the other does in a particular split possession series. How many games will drag on forever? 7 beats 3. 7 beats 0. 3 beats 0. Etc. Not complicated. Not a forever game. In college they go on forever because they start at the opposing teams 30. |

Re: NFL conference championship weekend
Real sudden death where first score wins wasn't unfair to the loser of the toss before the evolution of the rules to extremely favor the offense. I would be interested to see a study of overtime games by the decade. With the rules governing personal fouls now, especially to a QB and the pass interference calls, it is common for teams to have scoring drives with a big chunk of the yardage coming on questionable calls. Considering that I think there needs to be some rule changes, something like a hybrid between the pro and college system.
