Redskins 2019 PRE Draft thread
Drafting a QB is short sighted? I think it’s quite the opposite considering it may be someone who won’t even play next year.

I am just as averse to not using our 2019 1st rounder on a guy who can ONLY play OLB in a 3-4 as I am not using it on a QB, for example. Trying to make a "splash" in 2019 by spending a 1st rounder on a QB might drum up a little fan excitement, but its not in the best long-term interests of the team. That future doesn't start until 2020.
