Nothing against Murry but the Big 12 is an absolute joke. There is apparently not 1 good defensive player in the whole conference (unless we draft any of them).

That and his body won't take the beating of an NFL player.I doubt there are many MLB players who suffer in their 40's and up from old injuries sustained while playing.

Aside from pitchers and catchers you are probably right. Even if he had the body for football nobody in their right mind would give up a MLB contract for an NFL contract.
