By the way, does anyone thing DJ was incorrect? Wrong maybe, but not incorrect.

It does not matter if DJ was 100% correct every time he said something.

Players and coaches have to keep it in house.

Name any successful teams who air their dirty laundry in the media.

I don’t disagree. I was merely pointing out that the coaching is pretty suspect.

This. Totally agree with DJ, Manusky sucks dong. But he needs to keep that opinion in house, especially after they've previously warned him about talking to the media. What would that tell the other players if there were no repercussions for a player ignoring multiple warnings?

How about benching or fining him? No reason not to try a graduated approach? A release would always be an option later. This was dumb. Not justifying the media comments but the team’s reaction was counterproductive.

I said that when it first came out, the smart approach would be benching him for the finale and releasing him in the offseason. After the Rueben Foster fiasco we really needed to start taking image into account.

Regardless, he implied coaches don't work as hard as he does. I don't have a problem with them releasing him for that, especially after multiple warnings.

I agree,I would have suspended him and see how it played out in the off-season. But as others have said, I think this just proves that both Gruden and Allen will be back next season, and probably Manusky alsp
