I think the one thing Coach Gibbs should be remembered for is the ability to get a player to achieve more than that player thought he could.
He won three championships with less than stellar QB's. He got an illiterate young man named Dexter to give this coach everything he had inside him. He got a player who was angry at the team 10 months ago give a "It's not about me, it's about the team" speech that left some players unable to sleept that night. Arrington is a great player, and Gibbs got him to remember that. My two cents |
