he has his own problems, if he's looking this way, it's probably more wishful he still had Jay to blame.

Yup, he's basically proving why the team didn't want to bet the farm for him by performing basically the same on a loaded team.

No way, i don't agree. He is performing basically the same way because just like here, he has a defense that doesn't show up from week to week. We have yet to see Cousins play on a team that has a truly good defense week to week. Minnesota won't even make the playoffs, and i think that has more to do with the defense than Cousins' play.

Defense led them to NFC championship last year. Funny thing is how all the talk last year was how he was going to a perfect place for him.

I don't think it's all on Cousins but he was supposed to take them to the promised land and instead you hear their fans sounding like this board the last 2 seasons. Some people defending KC and some ripping him for his untimely errors.

KC is who he was here. He will set records, put up stats and still manage to make terrible plays at terrible moments which keep a team from winning key games.

Wtf would Cousins or any quarterback ever possibly have to do with the defense from one year to the next or a run game that goes from really good to really fucking bad?

Here's a snippet or two:

Quote:
http://www.espn.com/blog/minnesota-v...olific-fumbler
Since becoming a starting quarterback for the Washington Redskins in 2015, Cousins leads the NFL in fumbles with 37, having lost 16, also a league-high, according to ESPN Stats & Information
...
Cousins has six fumbles in the Vikings' past four games, four of which were recovered by the other team. And with every turnover created by a Cousins fumble, Minnesota’s opponent was able to capitalize.
...
Had Cousins not fumbled at the Rams' 48-yard line during the two-minute drill during a 38-31 loss to Los Angeles, the Vikings would have had a shot to tie the game. In a Week 6 win over the Cardinals, Cousins was strip-sacked and safety Budda Baker returned it for a touchdown.
Defense is dependent on an offense that doesn't turn it over, and on an offense that doesn't set up the D in a bad position.

As to the run game, remember that Case Keenum extended plays and Kirk never showed a knack for that, he would run once in a while but extending plays wasn't his thing:

Keenum's legs are extending plays, Vikings' Super Bowl hopes
Case Keenum has a knack for creating something out of nothing with his athleticism
Dalvin Cook was IR'd last year just like this year, their line is basically the same, they have LMurray as the second back like last year. The biggest difference is that KC has thrown it as many times already as Keenum did all last year. That's on the playcaller change which certainly affected it, but also I am sure KC's throwing ability encourages it, unfortunately putting the game more in his fumbling hands.

Anyway that was a lot of mumbo jumbo. Like I said, you want to like and pine for KC, that's fine. I was obviously glad we moved on from him. I do wish our QBs didn't break their legs.
