Tired of people acting like Kaepernick's only snafu was kneeling for the anthem, give me a break. His kneeling buddy, Eric Reid got another NFL job and Reid even bad mouths the NFL.

I wasn’t even really referring to the Skins. More a reflection on society in general - at least in this country at this moment in time. It is society that deemed Kaep was out and this guy and all the other Sallys that beat women can play.

Unfortunately Kaep is kryptonite. You see how many people are ready to burn him at the stake and how many people are like “so what if he hit a woman?”. Nobody wants to risk a money hit for a protestor. People are much more likely to welcome a great player who may have beat a woman or a child or whoever.

It’s just business to the suits and them and to some of us, we just want a winner.

Why is hitting a woman more wrong than hitting a man?

I’m going to hope a man with a wife or a daughter on this board will answer this.

I didn’t notice you said it was better to hit anyone, but yeah as a father, a husband, and a son there are three people in my world you do not ever want to fuck with. My brother, my father, and my stepson can handle themselves.
To answer the original question I would say yes if someone is going to get hit you better damn well believe it is the man not the woman.

So I guess the myth that men and women are equal is just a bunch of bs, right?

Both are wrong but also women were considered property until not too long ago. So beating a woman was just par for the course. Spousal rape wasnt considered a crime until a handful of decades ago. It’s just how power dynamics are, and while women may fair better in court historically, women also under report violent crimes against them out of fear of either retaliation or not being believed.

Kaep doesn't deserve to play in the nfl. First of all, he sucks as a qb. Second, he hates America and the American people. He promotes radical left wing anti American sentiment. The man is at home on the couch where he belongs.

This is really the only argument that matters to me. If he hadn't looked like garbage his last 2 seasons with the Niners, somebody would've made an offer. The talent wasn't worth the headache that would've come with signing him.

And at this point, he's been out of the league for far too long for any team to even care about offering a tryout. He's moved on, we all should too.

Secondly, in regards to your second bolded point, you are absolutely part of the problem. Calling anti-police sentiment amongst disenfranchised black americans "radical left wing anti American sentiment" is absolutely de-legitimatizing their cause, which is being racially profiled by police in every city they live in. By saying it's radical anti American nonsense you are basically shitting on black America. Just because there's a small percentage of the black community that wants to use BLM as an excuse to cause chaos doesn't mean they all want to. It's the equivalent of me saying all Republicans are racist, just because a small percentage of them are.

Some people had a real issue with his stance and comments that seemed to defend the murderous dictator, oppressor, torturer Fidel Castro.

You seem to have left that part out.

To be fair he never made a single statement defending murders, torture, or oppression even though you are trying to turn it into that. He wore a shirt with castro and malcolm x on it. He originally said it had nothing to do with Castro just X. Than he tried to say well he agrees with Cubas education system and other parts of their society under Castro. He obviously was not too well versed in Castros history of such atrocities, and was trying to cover up for his ignorance. But please let’s not throw gasoline on the “he defends hateful acts of murder by Castro” fire.
