I know it's way too early but I wonder if Cooper could work out here long term. He's only 28, there's still a chance he could pan out.

He’s been injury prone his whole career, hopefully he can stay healthy. Let’s give him a few games.

Yeah I just checked his injury history, but if he can stay healthy, right now he looks like an improvement over Lauvao... The one we've been begging for all offseason!

At the minimum he is a sold depth guy, the exact type of guy we needed to bring in this offseason. I'd still would have a better plan at LG than Cooper, but Id work Coop to find out if he wants to be a part of the plan going forward as our primary guy if someone goes down.

In the draft there are solid group of late first round, early second Guard prospects. Also, James Carpenter is a pending free agent...he is 30, but playing decent. He is someone who could be a transition guy for us. Healthy Vet who can play.

We clearly put ourselves in this position by not having an interior Oline plan. Their were/are solutions...
