Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Giants just traded "SNACKS" to Detroit for a #5 pic next year.IF You you don't run rough shot over the Giants on Sunday something is wrong.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
That is shocking to me! Man, a fire sale is one thing but taking a 5th round pick for Harrison is a give away. I thought you were supposed to have a good GM. That is an absolute steal for Detroit. Was that a cap space move?

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Alec Ogletree is out as well. I don't know how much we should need a passing game but my negative nelly side says jay gruden is going to force the pass and forget the run for the first time this year.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Because its Gruden and he feels like he needs to get the passing game going. Like i said it's more the nervous nellie or debbie downer part that just doesn't trust Grudens coaching

I'd like to think that our coaches were developing a "formula" for winning that creates a team "identity" but I don't. We don't have a team "identity" and I don't trust our coaches to find and stick with what works for us. Make no mistake, this is a critical game for the direction our season will take from here on. It is a defining game for both our players and our coaches. |

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
From Keim:
Without CB Quinton Dunbar, the Redskins will be short-handed vs. a strong receiving corps. It's not just Odell Beckham, either. Sterling Shepard has caught 36 passes for 508 yards and two touchdowns. Shepard does a good job creating separation. Shepard, Beckham and tight end Evan Engram can pose problems for any pass defense, especially one without a starting corner. Fabian Moreau has played well in the slot and, last week, was on the outside in the base defense. They'll need backup Greg Stroman to play well in three-receiver sets.
