I answered my own question -- we get nothing for Breeland because he wasn't signed by anyone as of May 8: https://www.nbcsports.com/washington...shaud-breeland
And we didn't do a tender (I wonder why) by which we could get a compensatory pick.

They had to like him a bit, they started him outside over Fuller.
I understand not wanting to pay him 10M/y when you think you have a solution with Moreau/Dunbar, and you're already spending 15M/y on Norman, but you're telling if they knew he'd be healthy before the season starts, they wouldn't want him for 1M ?
