And if it was cheating, you know the league would have been all over us. And I am more and more amazed how easily Redskin fans switch from rooting for to trashing the first franchise QB we have had in awhile. It's not his fault our idiot ownership couldn't get a good deal done. |

Did you watch the Redskins games this season? Because Kirk did look like a franchise QB then. Despite our WR corps and team as a whole not being good. Did you watch the two seasons before last season, when he set franchise records each year? Because Kirk also looked like a franchise QB then. Our team still wasn't that good, but our WR corps was. People saying that due to the increasing pass-happiness of the NFL, stats are meaningless. Then what happened last season compared to the past two? Answer is that even a franchise QB can only do so much, when Allen and Snyder have run down this team so much. Kirk is still a franchise QB. Phillip Rivers is a franchise QB, Same as Stafford, Ryan, Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins, Eli Manning. They aren't as good as Tom, Ben, and Drew. But you don't trade them until they are well past their prime, you build your team around them. You can debate where Kirk falls in that group, but he is in that group. |
