I believe you, but what in Snyder's history suggests anything but the worst case scenario here: that Gruden is out of the loop here. Where in a normal competent organization, wouldn't the HC be more informed?

You don't seem to recall when McCloughan was canned last year, Gruden was brought into pre-draft interviews at the combine because his opinion was valued.

I don't think he's cut out of the process. And just because he didn't tell Cooley doesn't mean he's not kept in the loop.
