Saying just "INJURIES" is a lazy and inaccurate statement on its own. I think it's probably not valid as standalone, but a large contributor to a bad season. Lastly, why the fuck can't we run in short yardage situations ever? I'm curious as to what teams that can run in short yardage situations do differently and how we can replicate that.

No you can say that, and you would be 100% right. The "no push" in the middle in the run game kills this team. Also a general lack of experienced talent at RB is another.
