But I don't understand the strong desire to leave the team to a worst situation, or why people think the team has done something wrong to him. Over the past two years the team has done nothing but put resources towards the offense, including:
- Drafting Brandon Scherff
- Drafting Matt Jones (yeah this didn't work out, but still)
- Hiring Callahan to improve the offensive line
- Extending Jordan Reed
- Drafting Josh Doctson
- Giving Gruden a 2-year extension

Honestly, I can understand. He likes Kyle Shanahan and he's familiar with the system. He's going to have a familiar face at wide receiver. He probably feels he can come in and win, at least, 8 games. At the same time, he's trading one terrible ownership for another. The only difference is that York has tasted a Super Bowl appearance in recent years.
