In 2013, her father, younger sister, and brothers, were murdered in a senseless act. When firefighters found Safyre in what was left of her New York home, she was clutching her father's chest, who saved her life, but couldn't protect her from all of the flames.



A woman has been arrested and accused of stealing more than $1300 from 8-year-old Safyre Terry, who suffered severe burns all over her body after an arson fire in 2013 that killed her father, sister, and two brothers. According to reports, 41-year-old Kimberly Bradford allegedly stole $800 in cash and more than $500 worth of gift cards from the burn victim when she volunteered to help sort through the millions of cards Safyre received from kind strangers last Christmas.
