We just need to let it play out. Either let the legend grow, or back to the draft/ drawing board. Not sure about the rest of you, but I'm really rooting for this to work out. The short answer that sums up the entire situation is we can't plan on hitting the gas station scratcher and getting a HOF QB to win.

It really doesn't matter then who Kirk is.

Like the Pats and Seattle, whether you have a star or not, smart teams are always trying to find talented QBs.

The idea that once you have "the guy" the QB search stops is a myth.

From a draft, FA standpoint, we should always be looking for an upgrade at every position. In that context, it doesn't matter what Kirk is, we still need to be looking for an upgrade. It's just the nature of the league.

I do think Kirk is going to be a serviceable NFL QB.

At the beginning of the year everyone thought we were set at RB, including myself. We need to always be looking to upgrade.
