Well it's not the end all, be all argument. There is the issue of is the locker room/organization strong enough to handle a player who is known to have been difficult for teammates to deal with in the locker room; will likely less playing time negatively impact Trent Murphy's (and Preston Smith's) development; what about the strong possibility he could be suspended for up to half the season. The first two in particular could linger long after the financial implications are gone.
