This ain't an unnecessary thread. That other thread is an introduction to the GM and announcing his arrival.

This thread goes deeper concerning the future of the franchise, in depth positives concerning the changes in the front office, and overall outlook on the vision of the team based on the new GM.

So let's talk about it folks.

Hey, Virgil freaking Tibbs is new here, he's not used to the way we do things around here. Let him settle in, we all remember a young member who came in rattling the earth and panicking everyone until he settled in line too. I tend to agree this probably could have gone in the SM thread, but I think the thread's central question, what makes this front office any different, is a good one. For instance, does this one hire stabilize a fractured FO? I'm not so sure. How much more change would make us a well run organization?
