Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
Today proved again that give me offense all day over defense.. Today’s NFL is meant for teams that can move the ball and score quickly. Our offense can never ever do that

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
Only way to get a real coach here - not a re-tread looking for another chance is to have a wealth of 1st and 2nd round picks in the pot. There is only one way to do that.

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
The team comes out slow under Rivera. Kick the ball off, long TD drive. We get it, 3 and out.

If JDR doesn't adjust his methods of teaching and gameplanning Ron seriously needs to consider sacking him at some point this year.

We don’t play 17 different teams this year

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
Excellent point.
Let me rephrase that. On pace to allow 17 touchdowns on 17 opening drives this year. Feel better?

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
Washington has allowed a score on an NFL-high 59% of opponent drives through Week 3.

We will not win 5 games …very sad. This team is imploding and I see it getting worse .

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
Positives? There aren't a lot, but there are some:
We're not the Giants (or 0-3). There's 14 games left. Undefeated vs the NFC/NFC East. No injuries (that I'm aware of). The obvious: It was a dreadful showing for the defense. The piss poor defense made Heinicke feel like he had to do it all. He forced things way too much. I can't fault him though - he's trying, and his receivers didn't help him much today. Honestly, the way he plays he's going to be good for at least one, maybe two turnovers per game. Dude plays with his hair on fire, and I don't think he sees the whole field through the smoke. He's going to make some real good plays, and there's going to be head scratchers. He needs experience, and a defense that can stop the opponent from scoring on every drive. I'm not ready to blow it all up like some are though. Everything wrong right now is fixable. Two losses to arguably the two best teams in the AFC right now is not the end of the world. Long way to go yet, and plenty of time to right the ship. Let's see how they respond next week against the Falcons. That will tell us more about this team than what we saw today. |
