I've known at least one woman who was sexually assaulted who went back and forth about contacting police. It was a very emotional experience for her and I understand why she didn't immediately go to police.

Again, I'm not saying she is telling the truth, I am just saying we shouldn't pass judgment based on an article or two we read in the press.

I can understand and respect that. But why is she filing a civil suit? Why isn't this dumb loser going to the cops? She just wants money.
