oh okay thanks guys. i dont see much non-redskins or non-nfc east threads in the redskins locker room so i was hesitant about posting a thread on steven jackson's new contract and how these incentive play based contracts might be the new way to structure contracts for premier players. nfl execs want to sign and lock guys into 5 -7 year contracts for what they are comparatively worth today while guys like jackson want a contract that will be competitive this year as well as 4 years from now.

may i suggest an nfl forum for people to talk about non-redskin or non-nfc east related talk? again thanks for the response yall.
