However, there is still a small possibility that this thing takes off with Wentz as the QB in the second half of the season, and if so, that at least opens up the possibility of Wentz being here longer than we think. I don't think it's likely, but you never know.

They can dump Wentz after this season and they should do so unless he takes the team on a big win streak. Keeping him would necessitate too big a cap hit to take next season for someone who may not be the answer.
