Obviously the players union and nfl will have to negotiate this.
The current labor deal is until the 2030 season. The current tv contract is until the 2033 season but has an opt out for 2029. I think the nfl will definitely opt out of the tv contract in 29. My guess the NFL wants the 18th game no later than 2029 but definitely earlier. It will be interesting to see the give and take. |
